Digital processes have long been an integral part of our workflow at Millennium FX. Our digital team continue to expand and take an ever more central role in our concept design and manufacturing processes, and beyond, as we find ourselves working ever more closely with departments such as costume, props, and VFX, through the sharing of digital assets, scans, and models, making for more seamless, efficient and effective collaborations.
The services we can provide include:
- 3D body and head scanning with top of the range Artec Leo and Eva scanners; these allow us to scan quickly and efficiently in both our own scanning suite or on locations both home and abroad.
- 3D design and modelling of prosthetics, creatures, props, and costumes.
- Digital concept design in both 2D and 3D.
- Printing. We have extensive in-house additive manufacturing capabilities with both SLA and FDM printers. We’re able to go from scan to a full body print in under a week.
